This clock has entirely open clockwork and is made after an English design.

It’s a copy of the original clockwork that was designed by William Strutt in 1830.

The design won the first place in Orlando (Florida) in the category “original designs” and was crowned with a golden coin.

The clock was built from a 4mm (~ 1/6”) brass-plate skeleton.

It’s a normal clockwork with a tappered wire-drum to keep the spring tension, as constant as possible during unwinding

The cog wheels are made of brass and the axles are made of steel.

The pendulum lense is filled with lead and weights 567 metric grams. The pendulum makes 108 movements per minutes.

The clockwork must be wound, once every 8 days
